2024 GOLF OUTING
Life in a wheelchair requires countless adaptations that most would not imagine. This is why Carl’s family and dear friends host an annual golf outing. It is an event that not only raises money for Carl to assist him with his needs, but this event brings friends together to honor a man we all love. This accident may have broken his body, but not his spirit. Join us in celebrating and supporting Carl Hoffman!
The 2024 Hope for Hoffmans Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Cracklewood Golf Club. Check-in for golf will begin at 7:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The price to golf will be $130.00 for an individual, or $520.00 for a Foursome. Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf with a golf cart. Golf will consist of a 4-person scramble format where each golfer will hit a shot, the team will then choose the best shot among the 4 shots just taken and proceed to the chosen shot, where each golfer will again play a shot, repeating the process until the ball is holed. On-course activities will include a Men's and Women's Long Drive contest and Men's and Women's Closest-To-The-Pin contest. There will be a Skins Competition that each team is available to join for a separate fee. Each Golfer will receive 3 drink or food tickets. The tickets are redeemable for a drink or hot dog at the bar inside the clubhouse or on the course with one of the drink carts.
After the completion of golf, lunch will be served inside Cracklewood's Clubhouse. The buffet lunch will consist of roast beef, chicken, pasta, mashed potatoes and gravy, California mixed vegetables, tossed salad, dessert and coffee or hot tea. There will also be a Cash Bar inside the clubhouse where drinks may be purchased throughout the duration of dinner. To attend the lunch, but not golf, the price is $60.00.
There will be a 50:50 raffle and several prize baskets raffled away after lunch. Tickets for both the 50:50 raffle as well as the prize baskets will be available throughout the day, either in the Event Tent or on the course itself. There will be also be a basket of cheer, which will be raffled separately from the prize baskets.
